Hi! Am currently in dilemma whether to get Fotile or Bosch. Any owner of either Fotile or Bosch built-in oven can share some experience Pros and cons? Example: durability, problem, anything lacking, service, warranty, spare parts, performance...

I can vouch for Fotile. My kitchen is almost fully fitted with Fotile, including my oven. Coming up to 7 years now and not a single issue.

It is different class. Brand presentation is different. The history of oven product of the company also long vs short.

Totally different class but okay if u wanna compare. One is China brand one is German. Definitely Bosch for me.

Are the prices of the oven the same? How much are both the units?

Does fotile do OEM ovens for big brand names?

In terms of price, the models I'm eyeing for Fotile is 2.3k while Bosch is at 3.3k.. In terms of, capacity is about the same, 70L for both.. And both are mechanical control. Wattage, 2800 for Fotile and 3400 for Bosch... Other specs is hard to compare... In terms of look, Fotile definitely win and is the brand is really gaining popularity... But Bosch seems to be one of the older brand...
So now, my concern is if the baking heat is even, the after sales service is good, spare parts are not too pricey and has anyone used either for years without prob(seems like have) ...

As for this "Does fotile do OEM ovens for big brand names?"
Really not sure...

for some1 who never use fotile or bosch oven, when u ask in general, more ppl would have heard of bosch as they sell many products like powertools. So, ofcoz people would vote for bosch.

But if u asked Fotile user, fotile good or not, majority will say YES. As per replies from other fotile users above, those who voteed bosch, r u using bosch? or just because the name sound branded or popular to u?

to be neutral, bosch and fotile both also good brand for ovens, i wont say who is better. If u get a RM 5k bosch to compete with a RM 2k fotile, confirm bosch win. But if rm 2k bosch Vs rm2k fotile, then that we can debate smile.gif

better to compare fotile among china brand like Ouyi and Robam.

Fotile vs Bosch is totally different brand image.

Proton X70 vs BMW X5. it is very clear for those who aim at X70 or X5.

Ahh good to know. I got their built in microwave oven cuz it was cheaper vs European named brands. Less than a year old

I would like to think of it more as a Honda CRV as it is incredibly reliable and not overly cheap tongue.gif
