Hey all, does anyone know in PJ area where to fix a cracked screen on a monitor? I have a Dell SE2719H and I called Dell, since it's an accidental damage, I can't claim warranty. And they said they don't repair Dell Monitor. So where can I find a place to repair it? The cracked area is like 30 percent of the screen and that area is all display in black. Anyone also know how much is it?

Basically the cost will be more than the monitor itself Just get a new one - or if you want to take risk you can always source the panel and replace it yourself

Sell the defective monitor and buy new one. Unless you can source the panel yourself, not worth it. A lot of buyers of defective parts because they have a good pool of parts.

Dismantle the monitor and get the part number of the panel. Then just look on ebay or other websites.

3 solutions.
1. Buy a similar monitor, maybe cosmetic damage but a good panel. Swap good panel to your monitor. All can DIY.
2. Order the correct panel from AliExpress. Forget Shopee or Lazada. They don't sell anything larger than 17 inches. U need to open up the monitor and check the panel specs with the Panelook site. Sometimes, u can use a different brand (AUO instead of LG) but the connector is the same.
3. Sell your monitor as parts. Some people might want the housing or control board.

QUOTE(geekystef @ May 28 2020, 03:46 PM) So, what have you decided to do? If you haven't resolved this issue, my advice is to get a new monitor. The price of the screen replacement is almost the same price of a brand new monitor of the same model. I ended up buying a LG 27 inch monitor. :<
