Since my previous car had pretty decent sound system, upgrading sound system is a must with the new car
So far I have upgraded :
JBL Stage 1 602 for front speakers
Pioneer TS-WX130DA for underseat subwoofer
Sadly, I can't fit in box type 10" subwoofer as my previous car, I sometimes drive grab as part time so need to reserve the boot space.
I just installed the underseat subwoofer, however when the guy install the subwoofer I notice he doesn't use the given RCA cable that connects to the head unit?
but he only connects the wire to the speaker wire
First advice needed, the subwoofer works great, but the low-pass filter doesn't seem to work (using the Pioneer remote) is it because he simply tap the wire onto the speaker wire instead of the Radio through RCA R/L channel?
Second advice needed, thinking of moving the JBL Stage 1 602 speakers to the rear (the rear still using stock speakers from Proton) and upgrade to component speakers for front.
Any component speakers is recommended? On the side note, my budget isn't too high.
Any good JBL component speakers? I kinda of like the JBL clarity and balanced mid and highs.
Third advice needed, is amplifier necessary on all door-mounted speakers? Does it improve the power delivery and sound quality?
Thanks in advance, sorry i'm a newbie in ICE
