Good day everyone,

I am looking for a laptop that is suited for gaming. However it comes from company's budget, so I cant buy a too *game-ish looking* laptop to avoid any unnecessary attention.

What model can you guys suggest: Looks like a normal working laptop but is suitable for gaming

Custom laptop brand now normally come with mech-kb and backlight.
Backlight is fine as you can disable, however the mech-kb itself produce clicky sound, so not suitable.

You can consider take Illegear Onyx V or Level51 Apex.
You might want to check ASUS / DELL / MSI gaming laptop.

In my perspective, taking any gaming laptop as working laptop means extra weight. I not wanna carry the laptop with me everyday to work.
Aside from that, working laptop you can consider fingerprint sensor and touch-screen as well.

To be fair though if you disable the backlighting (basically just pressing a combination on the keyboard) it's pretty much as minimalist tongue.gif

Also, are you willing to wait a few weeks or so? AMD's new mobile CPU has just landed here about a few days ago icon_idea.gif

Are you able to wait?

Budget? any preferences on weight and battery life?

There aren't that many better options than the Illegear you posted in terms of value for money. Just work hard, then your company won't judge your laptop choice tongue.gif

most gaming laptop with GPU will produce alot heat when gaming for long period of time.
its always recommended to get a laptop cooling pad with big fan to put under the laptop.

ROG g14, but you need to tweak a bit for better cooling,
some dudes in g14 subreddit have done so, also note that it has max-q GPU.

ROG g15 also, but cooling is not good cuz the vent is blocked and no one knows why.
