So these few days i have been testing and drifting my car in empty roads. And i must say, i expected too much from these rovelo sport a1.
Before i bought this, i look at the tyre ratings and also reviews. A lot of positive feedback hence the reason why i bought it.

Asking ktards which tire recommended for best dry grip?

For my case;

Standing full acceleration, really floor it (although i rempit, i rarely floor 100%).
Dry straight road.
1st gear - no grip all the way.
2nd gear - no grip and sometimes half grip but car skidding.
3rd gear - finally have grip but once over 6k rpm, can feel the tires loosing grip.

Rolling full acceleration.
Dry straight road.
1st gear - no grip no matter which speed/rpm i floor it.
2nd gear - half grip skidded a bit below 6k rpm. Once above 6k rpm car loosing grip.
3rd gear - have grip below 6k rpm. Once over 6k rpm can feel tires loosing grip.

And the rovelo sport a1 ratings and feedback are good. These feedbacks give me too much expectation for the tires lol.

Could it be that your suspension is too hard on a bumpy road?

Ayam noob, just asking hmm.gif

riding on kayaba stock absorber only.
I actually suspect my suspension too soft. So when accelerate the front of the car lifted up causing no grip.

Cheap tires.
People tokok good...promote...end up fakap tire coz they don't drive like.performance.car. like that acchilis atr tire

Sidewall no reinforcement and can tear off....if drift...the tire start to melt....but people tokok alot and hype it up
To me...cheap and good atleast is assymetric by good year.
*
I thought all tires got sidewall reinforcement one? hmm.gif

That could be it also. Car suspension can adjust rebound and damping right? Maybe you can tweak and retest it afterward. Rugi if change tyre too often
*
My car on stock suspension, not using adjustable. So cannot adjust the damping settings..

guys tumpang tanya... is it normal for an RWD car to hydroplane at about 70-90 kmh on a road with lopak air on the highway?

Is it a tire issue? It is an RTF from Goodyear if I am not mistaken. I kinda feel bad driving in the rain due to this, but when the road is dry the car is a beast.

Should I swap it for some Pilot sport etc?
*
Depending on how deep the lopak air is and how fast you are going, hydroplaning at that situation is normal. But at that speed your tires should immediately grip back once over the lopak.
That's why I won't speed when raining on unfamiliar roads.
Upgrading to better tires would only help a little bit when kena the lopak air.

honest opinion, i tried michelin pilot sport series, pirelli p zero and hankook ventus evo 2. all 3 of this are on different price point ( im running in 18" ). im currently happy with the hankook. it performs the same as the other 2 which are expensive. the only 2 downside with this hankook are noisy and soft sidewall. but they are freaking good in dry, and also wet. i use daily and i do have a heavy foot as well. i also recently bought  a used bmw e36 which also came with the tire u mention rovelo sport A1 and this are shit tires. cant wait for cmco to end i want to get rid of this rubber.
*
Yeah was thinking of the hankook ventus evo 2 or the potenza re003.
Once i fitted better tires and possibly HWL adjustable, I might be able to shave my century sprint to low 5 seconds lol
