Hi everyone,

I would like to know if this is the current rate.
First time doing this so not very sure.

My contractor quoted :
Lights RM15/unit
Fan RM20/unit + Hook RM50/unit
Track Light RM100/unit - Is this more expensive usually?
Curtain Railing RM50/unit

Thank you!

That's likely you were installing downlight with wiring.
RM50 is cheap.

I'm replacing existing lights. Im not adding additional lights, Therefore i think the wiring is still there, just need to replace the lights.

Is rm50 still reasonable price? hmm.gif

Hi. May I know whether you are installing the track light with the plaster ceiling or without?
This will be my first home and I plan to install track light as well.

Installing it will require one electrical point only right?
But with the increase number of lights, that will also increase the power consumption?

from what i know, 1 point split to 3 lights for the track light.
not sure bout the power consumption though. should be negligible lah.
