Me just bought this phone to replace my stolen K550.

Yaay!

Navigating thru the menus, the W610 somehow feels a little bit more sluggish than my old K550i when I bought it. One thing though... after filling up my 2 gig M2 card 3/4 full, even the K550i began to feel slow. The move thumbnails also stopped animating.

Another thing -- it turns out I'm not all that impressed by the Walkman function. The sound quality is no different than the old music player on my previous K550i. Of course, there's the Megabass function... but even then the bass sounds a little loose.

Oh one more thing... when I hook up the phone via the fastport USB cable to my eMac G4, sometimes the computer won't detect the memory card. Even when it does, sometimes computer 'undetects' it and whatever MP3 I happen to be copying over gets stuck.

My K5501 was worse. Sometimes the computer won't detect anything at all.

My W610 says the current software version is: CXC1250748 R6BC002 070607.

Is that the latest?
