the shortcut menu will lag if u adjusting the music volume, or the song title is scrolling on top or background. so far tested with gsharp/scribble beat theme.

hi, got anyone of u experience missing m2 card b4??
My fren one is w610, comes wif ori 512m2 package one, AP. SOmetimes the w610 like cannot detect the m2 card, all the songs and pics of camera are missing, need to unplug and plug back the m2 card, then only can detect back. No drop b4, nothing special happened b4, but dunno y got this type of problem. m2 problem or hp problem?? Other than that, everything is ok. The video player is the best!!! Can full screen, then normal screen again, no need replay video from the beginning. And the fast forward of the video is very very fast!!!! weih guys... suddenly got people here told me just now (a friend of mine) to never buy an AP set because AP set is not original. That includes the built in speaker. And also... AP set doesn't sound as good as original set. True arr?? Kinda hard to believe la...

I get the headphone which is black HPM-70(bundled) -got some accidental gift which is another battery(Japan made) -PC Suite -charger -extra ear buds for earphones -USB sync cable -manual consisting: Mandarin user manual, walkman manual. i guess that's all for my AP set. The first greeting ringtone is quite attractive. sound quality of the earphone...superb *because it has better noise cancellation compared to normal ones. Megabass also nice |

Just update from R1JD001 to R6BC002.. fix some bugs,
Edge network attach, it will attach to EDGE/GPRS even switch to CS only. (i prefer CS only as it will detach GPRS network, will reattach automatically only when required ) Walkman sound seem improve little. The following I din't notice much different Camera from 2.2 to 2.3 JP from 7.3 to 7.5 Text version from A to Al LCD Display from 200608080 - 20705210 Does W810 display better than this TFD technology?? IMO..even W550i display is richer, looks better than this TFD... (Probably SE try to cut down the cost?? )oh yah, how come W610 (mistake??) missing the useful Sleep Mode Clock & configure Play/Pause key options?? |

do you guys feel W610i brightness is very strong? did some comparison with TFT (W850i).. Brightness set to 100%, still can't compete W610i's 50% brightness, as the contrast still very strong.. my phone is doing well. currently hit 3000 sent SMSes. 9 MMSes. im going to hit my target, to send SMS at least to half a million total. yay. imagine 3000 SMS x 160 alphabet per SMS = roughly the keypad was pressed at most 480 000 times. ah our first 2nd, 3rd, and 4th post were updated. guys, i'm trying to get a new W610i very soon...*again...
btw, do i need to update the firmware? like say update chinese firmware which must +RM15? spamming smses in W610i isn't difficult at all, u just need finger nails + some socks.(such as ipod socks) the light of TFD screen is definitely bright, but i like it... I thought my sock already enough thick, but ...when i click on the keypad, it still penetrate through the sock... really unimaginable... so, even if I lost my handphone to the pickpocket last week, I still wanna buy back this handphone...haha~~what's the latest price? |

just now successfully update my phone. yay~
from CXC1250745 R1JD001 070123 to CXC1250745 R6BC002 070607 at least the numbers changed. ROFL. and i found that our old problem; flash wallpaper causes lag problem when is solved. yatta~ no more lag. |

Found out something.. if we set the Scenes to Auto, the picture quality is..

hmm.. i felt my w610i battery drain faster than w850i..as both using same 950mAH...
after 48 hours, the batt left 22-27%.... or maybe its 'new toilet bowl'...play play here & there a lots... |

a *.swf file will go into /tpa/preset/system/desktop/flash/ in the phone while a *.thm will go into yer memory card. *.swf is basically teh animated menu. u need to plant it inside the phone. and *.thm is some sort of code or whatever, that tell the phone to use the *.swf instead of default 4x3 grid menu. and that explains why last time when we put the *.thm into our phone, the flash menu wont come out. it is simply not there. the associated *.swf was not there. so when we use XS++, in basic terms, we actually plant the *.swf inside the phone. and then we use the associated *.thm to direct the phone to use the flash menu. aaa? do we in sync here? |

I think I get it, the Everchanging.thm DOESN'T associate the Flash Menu, in other words, the theme does not point to the Flash Menu (even if it's installed/not installed)..
So how I can edit the theme so that it does point at the flash menu? ok. i was at your place last time. um. take Orbit (W810i theme) as an example. get these two files.
1. orbit.thm 2. orbit.swf now, you need to check that the orbit.thm is directing to the right *.swf, in this case orbit.swf. how to check? 1. ok. you will need either 7zip or TUGzip (google, download and install it). 2. now, extract the orbit.thm. 3. from the extracted file, locate Theme.xml. 4. open the file with notepad. 5. locate this line: CODE <Desktop_style Type="File" Source="orbit.swf"/> 6. observe. this shows that the orbit.thm is directing to orbit.swf. thus, we need to make sure our orbit.swf is orbit.swf, not Orbit.swf, not ORBIT.swf not orbiT.swf. must be exactly as what is written the in the code. done. now upload the orbit.swf to yer phone. complete? upload yer orbit.thm to yer memory card. apply the theme. enjoy! |

and remember, the flash menu will change your shortcut number. for example, using Lava will cause your camera shortcut change from default 4 to 7. and maybe certain shortcut wont be accessible from the new flash theme.

HOW TO DISPLAY ALBUM ART
what's required? 1. CD/DVD cover source. eg. Albumart.org 2. Tag editor. eg. Mp3tag download the software 1. download above free tag editor from http://mp3tag.de/en/ 2. while waiting for the software, have our mp3 files ready. very best if we have the full album.  download the album art 3. aiseh our download speed slow like turtle, so we download our cover album 1st. go to http://albumart.org/  4. put the album name, hit search, wait for the result. 5. klong klong klong the album covers are displayed! edit the tag. 5. open the tag editor, drag the album onto it. our full album will look something like this.  6. for neatness and such, edit the track nos, album's name, song titles, years and so on. insert the album art 7. select all edited mp3 files. 8. with the files are selected, drag the desired album cover to the left box like this.  9. hit the diskette icon. saved! ... that's the way i prepare my full albums before transferring them to my W610i. enjoy our album art in the phone! yay! lol. copied from my backup post last time. |
