I mean on the SEUS program, when you guys finish choosing phone and wait. You need to click something first before it start to download the files if I'm not mistaken, there showing APAC also?
Cause mine show EUROPE(in the SEUS program) when i update..

But after update my phone remains as APAC but no more chinese input.
*
Yup, in the SEUS. After I chose W610i, the programme will check the firmware used in the phone, then it ONLY shows APAC, then I click next/start to begin downloading the firmware from the net, and upload to the phone.

Hmm, weird, how come yours shown EUROPE before update, then APAC after update, but without chinese input?? unsure.gif
What firmware does it shows when u connect to XS++ ??

quite quiet so far, don't think there's any new driver...
I notice that charging of the battery from USB cable is very very slow compared to from the adapter, does that mean that the slower charging rate USB is safer to charge the Li-Poly batt?? hmm.gif

yup, I thought the SEUS will auto overwrite whatever drivers that it 'thinks' it's older than theirs..... in a way, whatever drivers that's different from theirs, since they will consider their drivers to be the most updated version....

so nice bro.....
i want it... hahahahaha
*
It's a nice phone smile.gif function & hardware may seems to be similar to other SE phone(ie. K750), but this phone's works way faster!! and it's slimmer too, caught a lot of attention from my friends/colleagues. However, K750's phone speaker and camera seems to be better, in my opinion... nod.gif

QUOTE(polarzbearz @ Sep 19 2007, 06:44 PM)
No, that time when I bought the phone, I asked her to flash for me.. cause I know nothing much about phone that time.. so I don't wanna risk it. But only I realize that it's so easy.. wasted my money.. sad.gif
*
Don't worry, I didn't know anything about flashing too, until you all taught me notworthy.gif

QUOTE(kelvio @ Sep 19 2007, 07:28 PM)

QUOTE(kelvio @ Sep 19 2007, 07:38 PM)
lol then must be when renee flash that time not clean yet ( got such thing 1 arrr??)
*
Agree agree, sounds like maybe she didn't flashed it 'cleanly'!! haha, don't know if there's such 'thing', but I followed the guide and my phone works well now.

QUOTE(polarzbearz @ Sep 19 2007, 07:58 PM)
No idea, waiting for newer firmware version to update and try, haha. Don't wanna update now, lazy..
*
hmmm, why not flash it now, while the procedure still fresh in your mind? later you may have more stuff to backup from your phone oh.... sweat.gif

just curious, is there any Nokia snake game that can be installed to SE phones? I was playing my sis 6300 and found that it's a 3D snake now!! wow, I was a 'snake addictor' when I was in college!! haha
btw, where can I dl games ?? can't find the site posted in the thread few weeks ago.....

Hmm I feel the W810 is more popular amongst the general users. Many still prefers W810 though as i saw people make more themes, ringtones, etc. for W810 only. W610 not so popular although it's an upgrade to W810. Many doesn't know that i guessed.
*
I guess other ppl think that it's a higher-end phone because:-
1) its model number is higher, starts with '8' tongue.gif
2) it was one of the top range walkman phone when it was launched
3) its launched price is higher than W610's launched (am I right??)

from point 1 & 2, some ppl may think that W810 is a better phone compared to W610

I chose w610 because it has a torch light!!! rclxms.gif hahahaha. W810 can never make it for that flex.gif

Hi Cyrus2k, welcome to W610 smile.gif

Initially I thought the USB driver not installed, but you would be able to get into storage mode, weird.. unsure.gif

Arc's comment is logical, is the phone shut properly? also check if the 'C' is hold properly... sometimes I slip when holding the 'C' button

Sstarlight , lucky u realised that w810i also got torch light.. Jst want to "shoot" u on that ..  tongue.gif  tongue.gif
I think ppl get w810i is not based on your point u stated there, ppl most probally go for w810i is becoz the KEYPAD and the SCREEN ..

B4 i getting w810i , i'm also consider about w610i and K800i ..At that time ,i thought that M2 card will be much more expensive than MSPD coz its newer and smaller and i'm sure most ppl will be going to upgrade their phone to a higher capacity right.. Who knows , I'm Wrong About That..  doh.gif
But if i been given for another chance whether to choose w610 or w810i .. I definitely will still go for w810i ..
hahaha~~ icon_rolleyes.gif  icon_rolleyes.gif

shoot me??? rclxub.gif haha.. sorry for stating the wrong info earlier.... and, how come nobody corrected me earlier??? shakehead.gif aiyooo
a question, jason, how's the phone speaker of W810?? personally I don't like the speaker of w610, it's lousy despite a walkman phone. Other than that the phone is fine, no problem with the keypad and screen, in fact I quite like the keypad lo biggrin.gif heard that w810's camera is better
Anyway, I have no doubt W810 is a nice phone too smile.gif

found the below comment from GSM Arena, W810 & W610 user biggrin.gif

Ermm~~ I'm actually satisfy with the sound quality of w810i from the 1st day i got this phone .. Now , I'm much much more satisfy with it after modding the sound driver .. Hahaha~~ i can give 8.9/10 for this phone ..

w610 pros vs w810
thinner- agree but i'm ok with w810's tickness.. (previously using NK6600) tongue.gif
much louder speaker and earpeice - No idea , din really compare side by side , basically i think its almost the same
newer version of the sony walkman software- nod.gif
video ringtones - rclxub.gif No idea wat it is ...

But both of the phone is really good .. It depends on the user only, if u really have no problem with the w610i's keypad , then go for w610i coz its an upgrade from w810i .. especially the walkman 2.0 . Its much much cooler than walkman 1.0  drool.gif  drool.gif
video ringtones is that you can use a video clip as the ringtone.... not using it though..

haha~~ treat is as bonus features..
Polarbearz , i already test it from your posted theme.. I think the outcome still the same .. its a bit laggy but its not really noticeable if u really din put much attention on it .. haha
But i still prefer my previous .thm .. Got pic on the main screen there.. Yours 1 kosong right and the capacity is bigger ...
*
yup, a bonus feature...
hmmm, the lag u face is it when u move in the menu? I notice that it's slower compared to other theme, probably because the phone vibrate when u move around the icon, and it takes time to vibrate, that's why it's slower?

what do u mean kosong main screen?? what .thm r u using?? mind sharing?? drool.gif

Kosong meh? There's built-in wallpaper in the theme, changes according to the time & season.. you sure it's blank?
No lah, just guessing. But around that time lo. laugh.gif
*
wanna ask, how long does it changes from one season to another? My wallpaper was stuck to purple/blue for a couple of days until it changes today to brown, quite nice, and only now I notice the branch with leaves, and I thought the leaves will grow too!! sweat.gif
