I dont know much about hp but i tthink W610 has a better audio quality lo.. Both models have 2MP with AF so the camera quality should be quite similar.

Correct me if im wrong, imo W610 is like an updated W810, K550 an updated K750

yea..the w610 is an updated version of w810, k550i, and k750 since it has all these models' features..many owner of k5501 crossflashing their fon to w610..so, no doubt la w610 better than k550..one thing for sure is walkman player is better compare to media player..so, w610, FTW..

Is it advisable to get AP instead of Ori? Not sure my puny town here got the ori w610. What's the difference if you dont mind explaining

The differences is just warranty for AP and Ori phones... Nowadays AP warranty is longer than Ori warranty...
(example: Telstra warranty 2 years, Ori 1 year)

And also depends ur budget... If u budget is ok I advise u to buy Ori coz only RM100 extra...
Some shop seller will used/recon set sell it as new AP phones...

so, before buy, check whether it has sirim sticker lor..bcoz, most of recon fon dun hve sirim sticker..just buy AP set la..no one knows if ure buying ori..but if u travel to overseas frequently, just buy ori..the warranty cover all country..

Added on November 12, 2008, 9:27 pmjust wanna ask u guys..i got this prob with my new w610..every few days(2-3days) somehow the pic tht i use for caller id kinda 'disconected' when someone call or sms me(no pic) and the same time when i use the camera, it automatically exit the camera mode when i push the snap button. this problems will gone after i restart the hp. any info for this? thnx.

Anyone had a backup of the file 'EN.ing' in TPA/PRESET/SYSTEM/LANGUAGE ?

The camdriver 2.38 asked me to replace the file with its own and ended up with many weird F4:2634 instead of the normal english word
