Hi all,

I'm currently looking for 24 inch monitor with:

- Full HD 1080p
- Frameless (Narrow border)
- Vesa mount compatible (want to mount with the adjustable monitor arm)
- Use for working and movie (better if with vibrant colour screen)
- Budget: RM 600 (can be higher if needed)

Any recommendation?

Thank you guys.

Thanks for recommend the way to search for it.

Actually i had roughly searched for it and have a few option:

- Acer VG240Y
- LG 24MK600M
- Viewsonic VA2432-h

Any opinion on these? Or have any other better options and brands?

Thank you.

Yeah, among them LG would've be the best choice as LG manufacture's its own IPS panel and their monitor are colour calibrated out from the factory.

I upgraded from the LG 24mk600 to acer xv240yp, i would say the difference in refresh rate can be heaven and earth, you should definitely give them both a try. If you feel you dont need the higher refresh rate, just go for the LG one, both are solid monitors

Thanks for your opinion.

I don't really need a high refresh rate since the monitor is not for gaming.
I would be more concern about the colour depth and contrast since it will be used more on video and movie.

Currently comparing the LG 24MK600M with the Asus VA24EHE and a Philips brand LCD monitor since they seem have a higher contrast ratio than LG monitor.

Any opinion on these?
