Not much different android 11, notification abit different, unused gesture bar. Feel slower abit but like more stable. Cool apps dark mode customization options for some apps if u like ”dracula” dark mode. But some apps like google map cant be toggled.

Checked several times. No new update at all. You all are on EU or Global ROM?

QUOTE(msacras @ Dec 26 2020, 09:47 PM) EEA (EU) here too, checked few times since the post, didn’t get any update too. IC...Wait for another few more days then. Thanks.Xiaomi always send their updates in batches, you don’t always get them at very first time. QUOTE(cktang @ Dec 26 2020, 10:34 PM) Yup. I did that. I have 2 POCO F2Pro. I got all the updates for my Global unit v12.2.1.0 & v12.2.3.0. and yes most of bugs are still there
1. notifications badge not fully working for certain apps - works at app drawer but not at the desktop/ home screen 2. floating windows for Messages app - received SMS while using another app, slide down the notification for floating windows but another Messages app open at the back of the already floating windows of Messages app overall quite ok updates. Navigation feels smooth but I wish it can be faster/ snappier. well at least now got December 2020 security updates. |

Android 11 update not much difference really under miui, u'll notice some usual functions disappeared instead of any special new features. Wait for miui 12.5 updates more makesense.

QUOTE(Ebony & Ivory @ Jan 4 2021, 10:27 PM) Is the android 11 OTA update being pull back again? Heard there is a lot of bugs. According to Mi Lab (telegram channel for F2P), xiaomi label the latest android 11 as "Internal stable/partial rollout"... until now my phone haven't receive it. And one of the custom rom devs said: "This is a partial rollout rom which was made available for only a specific time aiming to get feedbacks on bug reporting, by updating to that specific build you agreed to participate in internal stable testing." So I'm guessing some users might not getting it, for now. https://t.me/POCOLabs This post has been edited by mfa682: Jan 5 2021, 10:05 AM |

After update:
The good: - quite stable, no app freeze/hang and no more auto reboot(haven't occur yet after update) - Google playstore no need update apps so often as before The bad: - Some usual features missing, notifications sometime display a bit weird/ origin apps icon not display as before at the top notification bar. - The display auto brightness sometimes remain low contrast hard to read in the car when daytime. Other no noticable difference, using fine as usual. Remarkable battery life is the most i like about this phone |
