Getting Started

Hi. I bought new KYB absorber, mounting, bearing, stopper and boot. Then let a workshop to replace the part. After that, i noticed got noise when turning, while driving slow. Example, going in to house car porch.
Before this, no noise at all.
I suspect some mistake during installation. I doubt is new part problem because both side got noise. This car is Toyota Vios NCP93.
Thanks.

What sort of sound? Maybe you should get it checked. Car repair is a funny thing. You can repair a part and the next thing you know the other broken parts will suddenly be noticeable.

Just now went to another workshop for a quick check, they suspect absorber mount and bearing. But it's new part.

You know stabilizer link? Might want to check yours. Mine also after change absorber a week later got sound. Bear with it for a year plus or so. Go other workshop service, ask them check routinely, they show me my absorber link bush koyak so i change it. Notice difference straight. Less swaying while driving, no knocking sound when reserve turn park. Even brake less noise, it was noisy as fark ehen i changed the pad. Maybe previously workshop didnt install well, and i thought its the pad problem. When they change the link, need to remove wheels.

normally got sound when turn left / right is the driveshaft CV boot, but in your case might be control arm nut or stabilizer bar link rod not connected properly, need to check alot of stuff, not sure based on your description.
