Just be friends with everybody. Does how much a person own influence your criteria for friendship? Does being able to appreciate the finer things in life make you a better person? I have gone through being rich and being poor. I was a bankrupt too, once upon a time. People who I am proud to be friends with, were there when things were tough. Some of the posts here sound too much like those fairweather "friends" I had back then.
Acquaintances yes, but friends no. I am a believer of "You are the average 5 person you hang out with" law of averages. Also, being friends with everybody is bound to have a problem where you don't have enough time for yourself, and worse still, friend politics. I appreciate my me time, so instead of having to disappoint people, I'd rather not "belong to a group". I understand some people cannot live without friends, I guess I'm just not one of those kind.
