My Xbox x shutting down it self during an updating and download the game.
Power light button still ON, but no signal on TV.

Anyone has the same problem?
Does it an overheat and HDMI port / IC problem?

I try to google/youtube, press start button/eject/blind for 10sec, but no luck.
Try to replaced with a new HDMI cable/try another port on my TV but still same think...

Anybody know how to fix it?
Need to change the HDMI IC unit?
How much the cost to repair?

Thank you Guys..

Regards;
Yatt.

Try disconnect any USB cable attached to it or external HDD, have you tried on another TV?

Is that a system update or game update?

in case its update crash, you can always use a USB drive to recover it. https://beta.support.xbox.com/help/hardware...actory-defaults

Oh no. Sounds exactly like what happened to my Xbox One X. My unit was bought from Impulse, and in just 5 months, I had encountered an issue where my Xbox One X just turned off suddenly while watching a 4K Bluray. There was nothing I could do to recover it, so I sent it back to Impulse. Then they sent it for RMA with Microsoft Singapore I think, where I had to wait around 2 months or so. Is your unit still under warranty?

What would be the steps to send back a Xbox One X unit for RMA if the unit is not bought from Impulse?

Cause as I know, they are the only ones who will send it back to Microsoft SG for After Sales.

You can check if Impulse could charge you a service fee for RMA, back then when Gamers Hideout is all Xbox they do help, but its been ages.

Alternatively you can send that to a friend/relative in SG ask them help send to RMA (they have to call MS from SG, fake that the unit is his), once RMA done they will ship back to your friend/relative then they ship back to you. Or you can visit SG once RMCO is over?
