Pentium D 925 3.00Ghz
MS-7236 945P Neo3 with latest bios 3.60

stil cant OC more than 3.2Ghz..

Do i need to do anything b4 OC.. and i notice CPUz the speed is not same with processor 2500+ not 3000+

Anyone here please tell me the steps to OC please... to all seniors.

that is the eist working
if you check the cpuz
it will show a multiplier of 12 instead of default 15

for 3000mhz = 200mhz(fsb) x 15 multiplier
low power
for 2400mhz = 200hmz x 12 mp

pentium D on default setting very hot already , u want try oc at least get a better heatsink . IMO .

for pentium d the idle temperature can made me feel like in oven n if u oc it i donno how u gonna stay beside ur pc laugh.gif

It depends on what pentium d your using.My proc is nt so hot..its a 940 but when i was using the stock cooler idle temps were at 33+-...load was round 40+-
After upgrading to TR ultra-120 i got better temps.I think the 925 generally is hotter...shawty once used this proc i guess and he told it was a hot proc also..

I never use any Pentium D 940 @ Pentium D 925, where did you get that info? laugh.gif
I've used Pentium D 930 & Pentium D 945 lar. tongue.gif
