I plan to remove my hob from my kitchen counter top. Any idea to cover this hole without replacing the whole kitchen counter top? Expert contractor can contact me haha.

Actually I still have the cut out piece of the counter top (Quartz).

Actually no bro.. my cooking area is going to be small standalone cabinet, so i was considering to put quartz (feel wasted because 85% will be cutout) or just cheap cement will do.. now i see your situation..

Bro why to remove the hob? If the pieces enough to cover whole hole then should be no problem, just you need do extra finishing work to cover the flaw.

And if dont have enough piece to cover you may go tiles shop looking for same pattern tiles to fit the hole.

I think the cheapest method will be leaving the electric hob there as is. It's flat anyways, so you still can use it as a worktop smile.gif

Rock-Hard granite-like slab to cover the old hob hole that you are not using anymore. It is so hard, you can do everything that you would normally do on a granite table top.
If it breaks during normal usage as on the kitchen table top, I will give you your money back 100% - without dispute
Size is 750mm (L) x 450mm (W) x 10mm (thickness)
It is about 10kg - so mailing is not a consideration.
It is usually sold for RM50 - but there is a tiny 3mm notch as seen on the picture, so you need pay RM35.00 only to compensate for the defect.
It is not an obvious defect - you need to look closely to see it.
