What battery charger are you using? Some will auto-cut off once it has detected the battery is full or if its faulty.
How old is your battery? It sounds like it can no longer hold charge.

What charger do you have, the brand and model ?
For my Bosch C7, I try to keep the charger hooked up for at least 4-6hours each time.

Getting Started

If its weak the the plates would have sulphated. Charging it can help a bit but won’t remove the sulphation. You need to use a pulse charger to help remove the lead plates and u can regain ur Battery almost back to new. I can find cheap pulse car chargers online. It works very well.

I'm now using a Bosch C3, and previously a very old style charger that needs to select either 12V or 6V batteries. Safe to say, charging the battery over night (8hr-10hr) is sufficient enough.
However that said your battery is almost 2yrs old and is a maintenance free variant that might not be worth the effort.
Can you peel off the sticker on the battery if there are visible caps underneath? Some MF batteries with covered caps can actually be topped up like conventional wet batteries, if the acid level has dropped and exposed the plates inside, reducing its efficiency. Yours might be worth a try to recharge if this is the case.

guys when it comes to judehow, you must sort make some assumptions that he wrote it wrongly....
he has no charger, he likely means how long should he run the car to charge the battery
judehow jumpstart the car, then run it for a while..... just go for a drive, 10-15 mins of cruising will do.... idling works but is slow, so again just go for a drive (you can drive now and petrol is dirt cheap, no reason not to)
when u get back leave the car overnight and restart the car on the next day, if the battery is still dead, its likely screwed.... take it from me, if possible dont let a battery drain that bad, lifespan goes down the drain

Yea, I start my wife's Myvi G1 similarly too.
Every morning during MCO I will crank the car and let the car run idle for 10mins or so. Will engage N or R to move it in the porch to avoid bald spots on the tyres if it's stationary for a long time.
Then once a week I'll drive it around the housing area to decarbonise the car... Basically tekan accelerator a bit and let it cruise around before going back home.
Car used to have weak start too but after that regime for almost 2 months plus, car starts fine.

I just bought some cheap battery charger from Shopee, tried it yesterday and it works fine. My Mark X battery went totally dead with like less than 10v, so I charged it for around 7-8hrs and it went back up to 12.5v. The charger indicator still showed it can still charging though so not full yet.

Anyone normal modern car should have no problem being idle for 1 month without starting. Some works fine even after 2 months. It depends on the car's battery health. And also if you have parasitic draw. If your car is still standard without mods like entertainment system or dashcam (connected to fuse) then it should be fine to start monthly. Or if you want to be safe, every fortnight will do.
In my personal opinion, it is better to leave the car idle as it will go into deepsleep after inactivity for long time. In this mode, battery consumption is very low. If you start it everyday, you will need to compensate back the battery because it suck a lot of power when you crank the car.

Can i upgrade my battery but use century brand? If yes which model number?
