my Wise card CAN NOT use contactless payment method in Malaysia too,
already check all the setting, turned on all the payment methods,
already made multiple insert card payment and also made ATM machine withdrawal already,
already tested contactless payment at all different type of shopssss & restaurantssss,
but ALL still can not go thru via contactless payment  bangwall.gif

I also emailed Wise support on this issue,
they just said my case is ISOLATED CASE, they will fix it but NO TIMELINE.
really frustrated with their this kind feedback  ranting.gif

I wonder your Wise card can use contactless payment in Malaysia?
when you receive your card? you are first batch of Wise card user?

I encourage EVERYONE feedback this contactless payment issue to Wise support,
more people complaint, more people boycott Wise, more pressure, then Wise will only fix it.
Now Wise keep on saying i'm just an ISOLATED case, because i'm the only one complain them kau kau...
without contactless payment is really really really TROUBLESOME la.... aiyo...  vmad.gif

I have this contactless issue too and WISE can't resolve the issue.

I think certain terminals are blocking Visa contactless payment, especially Maybank payment terminals. These terminals are exclusive for MyDebit (Bank Negara) contactless payment, issued by local banks/finance companies.

PIN payments works all the time with WISE.

WISE wasn't helpful in resolving this...... They blamed on everything..for example I should contact the payment merchant...they also said my new card has malfuntioned...etc....I lazy to follow up already. ranting.gif

OCBC Debit Mastercard also don't have markup for foreign currency. But limit per swipe only around RM5k.

Limit per swipe it is based upon your account balance 🤦‍♀️

But if anything more than rm10k per swipe be prepared for additional security verification and calls for that transaction
*
Limit per swipe is based on the account and card transaction limit, NOT ACCOUNT Balance. 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️

I have done more than 10k per swipe and i didn't encounter any additional verification. These security measure varies according to bank, especially when you rarely spend too much under that account. And since this is a WISE thread, no additional verification are required for the WISE card. 🤦‍♀️
