I always purchase stuff from Ebay and am using PayPal (which charges quite a bit). Will using Wise help on this?
Another question, I have some $ on Etrade (company stock). Can I transfer those to my Wise account?

QUOTE(MUM @ Mar 26 2023, 01:02 AM) While waiting for real sifus to comment, I googled and found this...hope it can provide you with some added info while you wait. "Use Wise to save money on eBay international buying." https://wise.com/my/blog/ebay-international...y%20with%20that. Thanks. As a buyer, we're not charged by Paypal - only the sellers are. But there is still some bank charges for the conversion, so I am seeing if using Wise will even be cheaper.

QUOTE(blingless @ Sep 6 2023, 05:39 PM) Yes, eBay, Amazon, and almost all e-commerce transactions. No issues. Is it cheaper than using Paypal linked to local credit card?

QUOTE(blingless @ Sep 8 2023, 12:19 AM) General rule of thumb ... Paypal is a ripoff. They'll get you at least twice. Once from their lousy exchange rate and then again on their processing/service fees. Yes, but also because they give protection to the buying parties. Does ebay allow payment using Wise and not PayPal?
