I always purchase stuff from Ebay and am using PayPal (which charges quite a bit). Will using Wise help on this?

Another question, I have some $ on Etrade (company stock). Can I transfer those to my Wise account?
*
hi i have the same question. did you manage to link your wise to etrade? able to transfer?

only if you have the physical Wise debit card, then you can withdraw from ATMs.

Malaysia-issued Wise debit card rules on withdrawal:

On the mobile app, go to Manage > Account Limits > ATM Withdrawals > ATM fees, it'll show the specific limit unique to the issuing location as per Wise Terms of Use, as well as how much of your monthly limit has been utilised.

You can direct send after conversion without going through Wise MYR account to avoid the charges.

Anyone try withdrawing cash from ATM from Japan? I stuffed it with Yen a few months back. Planning to go Japan next year see Sakura. So will mostly use it as debit card but in case cash not enough, plan to use it as backup plan since I can just buy more yen online.

Just saying, don't forget Western Union is a viable alternative to ATM withdrawal and money changers, especially in countries less travelled to by Malaysians.

How long does it take to deliver the wise card upon application? I have an overseas trip on 15th nov, sempat tak if I order the card now?

It says estimate to arrive nov 18, any chance will arrive earlier?

If not, any way to have Wise virtual card to add into Samsung Pay/Apple Pay without the physical card?

hi all,
I have performed more than 5 times payment via insert card & PIN.
But my Wise contactless payment (aka payWave) still totally unable to use on any machine in Malaysia.
This is very inconvenient.

I have checked my payment method setting in Wise app, all payment method turned on already.

Any idea why? Any one manage to use contactless payment (payWave) in Malayisa?
Maybe I know which shop? so that I can go try it.

It's not just Malaysia, 5-10 of us also failed to wave in the Netherlands, had to use PIN. Maybe deswai it's a 4 digit PIN to make it easier to input 🌚

Hi sifus, need your explanation here. Sorry in advance if I am noob in my maths.

As per I'm typing right now, on the app it shows
100 SGD requires 336.93 MYR.
Where "Our Fee" is 1.98 MYR and Rate is 0.298551

Question: How was 336.93 MYR calculated out from 100 SGD? Simple maths will tell me 336.93/100 = 3.3693MYR/SGD but then how do they derive this number from?

Hi guys, have anyone of you encountered account being deactivated? Idk why my account got deactivated, I send an email to the appeal team, said it would take up to 20 days to reply to me. Till now it's been 25 days and I didn't get any response from them. What are the other solutions besides emailing them?
