PS3 no doubt..
but the downside is soft sidewall.. so when doing hard cornering you can feel the car wobbling
TR1 maybe have harder sidewall which is good for spirited driving.. but in raining, PS3 better in term of performance..

PS3 is the best while V12E2 is the best value for money. PS3 has the edge in aquaplaning resistance but everything else the V12E2 is very close to PS3. Btw V12E2 should be just around rm160-170/pc for this size.

UC6 is much lower performance category. It's the 2nd lowest level tire for Continental so definitely not worth it at that price!

TR1 is very new, so not sure yet. Reviews on them seem ok but nothing that really substantial to confirm.

Yeah the pattern looks really odd, too asymmetrical. But hey I am not a tire engineer so what do I know. Anyway I'm always skeptical on Toyo, never really convinced on their products yet.

Not too bad but not as good as PS3 or V12E2. I'm using them now on my Evo, size 255/35/18, coz it came with them.

Actually what kind of driver you want? There is no the best tires, only the most suitable tire for the driver type.

If you want spirited driving PS3 is the best in the group.

If want comfort or normal driving condition continental UC6 is better value selection.
Other options i prefer is Falken Ze914 ecorun & Yokohama Bluearth ES32 under comfort/normal driving category.

You can do your own research from this website.

PS3 no doubt.
I'm currently on my 2 sets of PS3 fixed on Toyota SEG AE111, 195/55/R15.
It has soft side wall and you can increase the tyre pressure a bit according to your comfort.

V12Evo2, I think cannot find now in Penang due to obsolete.
Luckily, I managed to buy it last year, 215/45/R17, for another car. Good value for money with performance.

What you say is very true. I presume most who recommeded Michelin PS3 are those who drive fast and furious style. Seems like a standard recommendation to promote these handling types of tyres. I would pick the more comfort type which include UC6 and Primacy 4ST or even the Yoko Blue earth tyres which are good enough for my needs.

Seems like it is a pattern that the handling tyres are the default best types whenever there is a thread asking for a tyre recommendation.

Just got PS3 195/55 R15 at SL tyre Klang.

Rm230 per pc.

RM20 for valves x 4

RM15 for Alignment.

Tyre is damn smooth.

I bought PS3 last year for size 195/55/15, rm220 per pc.
Manufactured year 2018.
I think PS3 still available for 15 inch only.

For larger rims yes.
PS3 15" still available, I just changed to another set of two pcs 185/55/R15.

Its one of those tyres that I can really use up to the TWI itself so worth every penny.
Wet stopping distance is important especially in wet weather and at traffic lights where oil/water tends to puddle up.

Attached Image

use until 0% (reached TWI)

You guys in west malaysia so lucky can get cheap tyres.

Here in east malaysia, not only its hard to find these good tyres, but also damn expensive.

Imagine Michelin xm2 also selling at rm250 for 195/55/15
Ps3 probably selling at 280+ per piece.
