So my Samsung 860 EVO, which I bought for less than a year from Lazada, suddenly died. My laptop can no longer detect it.
Anyone has any experience on how to claim for the warranty and get a replacement?

I'm still trying to contact the seller to get more info (thankfully the seller is big, not some no-name seller). Based on the listing, it says the SSD has 5 years international Samsung warranty, so I think the seller will tell me to claim from Samsung directly.

EDIT: I saw wrongly, it actually says 5 years local supplier warranty. Hopefully the seller will process the claim.

I have 2 Samsung 850 EVO 1TB died within 3 months, and was forced to send back to US. After that never buy Samsung anymore.

Using Silicon Power, Sandisk, WD, Intel and some cheaplug china brand like Colorful. All without any problem.

Register your product https://www.samsung.com/my/support/warranty/
Under IT & BUSINESS, Solid State Drives. And if you go to the bottom of the page, there is an online live chat you can ask them directly about your warranty request.
