Hi parents.

Just wondering. Those who sent their kids to pre-school, does the school still asked for full monthly payments since the MCO started?

My son’s school asked us to pay full monthly amount. Yes, they do offers online learning. But we still need to prints our own daily materials and need to help/accompanying our kids during the live video conference calls.

I know the school need to pay their teachers’ salary, but it’s still a bit unfair for the parents to still do most of the teachers’ work, but still need to pay the full amount.

I might sound like an asshole with this post, but what do you guys think? Does any parents still pay the full monthly fees?

Thanks in advance and stay safe.

I work from home and being paid in full during MCO. I just close one eye and made the full payment. They need to pay the teacher's salary as well. It will be more troubling if the school could not reopen after MCO because no money to operate.

The teachers are not really paid a lot and can be very difficult to find, especially a good one.

Those who teach must have passion.

I suggest pay in full if you can. If you can't and need to withdraw, let them know your situation so that either they can help you or prepare for life without your child.

There will be casualties - it's all around us. At least be civil and give the people who tend your child the courtesy of heads up.

Give and take..

What if your company want to deduct your salary since u probably arent working or not at 100% capability?

So if u are getting full paid, whats wrong u paying full too?
Unless if u also got salary deducted u may let them know and they might be able to help.

U can discuss with the school for whatever fees that are not utilized can be deducted or not, such as meal price, electricity, water, etc etc...
Remember, if u dont pay full amount now later they may give different treatment to your kids who knows right?

Otherwise just ignore them and look for another pre-school after MCO.
