Im having a hard time getting a phone thats suitable to me as I prefer smaller phones (android only), ie around 5 inch, but the specs need to be at least upper moderate.
Its very hard for me to hold a phone like 5.7 inch, and all the smaller phones i found are like 3gb RAM and below...
Anyone has any recommendations?

Hahaha to all that suggest, sorry to say am an android user, wouldnt wanna change to another interface for the time being. So its a no for iphone..

This is useful though, i'll look into it! Huawei P30 looks nice but still, a bit too big. Pixel 3a spec is too low for my needs.

Looked it up, its very nice, might just have my next phone coming soon

Still gonna recommend iPhone SE 2020.

Samsung S10e is quite a good choice.

But the biggest drawback is the small 3100mAH Battery. After 1 year it won't last a day... similar to my previous Samsung S8.

And the fingerprint sensor is positioned too high up that you'll have to stretch your finger to scan/switch-on your phone; can be quite uncomfortable.

TBH, Huawei P30 and the S10e are both the same size and priced the same; but the P30's battery life and camera is legendary; especially the battery life.

Cheap Samsung A10 / M10 is really good already.

3gb RAM not a measure of performance.

For 5" screen size and below spec for latest models android phones mostly comes with junk lousy specs. That's the fact.

I use Mi 9 SE.

No too shaby. Battery can last up to 26 hours. Whatsapp, telegram, short youtube video, no gaming.

Else the Samsung S10 is also a good choice. But I personally prefer the iOS

All those suggesting iPhone se didn't realize the phone is as big as s10e ? The screen only cover 65% of the phone and another 35% is bezel .

P30 same size with s10 not s10e . P30 has inferior screen . I found it during applying privacy screen protector . The screen become grainy . Then I do research and found that the screen made by Chinese has lower grade . It also doesn't support micro SD .

1. How do you judge whats Lower grade?
2. How do you prove a screen is inferior?

Putting privacy screen just makes the comparison invalid as it doesn't prove which screen is better than the other.

Thats like saying, putting racing tires on your Myvi, but the Ferrari on racing tire performs better than the Myvi (because the Ferrari uses the racing tire better than the Myvi).

Samsung makes the best screen in the market, but that doesn't prove that the P30's screen isn't bad and has inferior screen.
I can also deduce that Samsung puts an inferior/lower grade OLED screen on the S10e, to keep the cost low, while keeping the best panel for S10+, S20, S20+/Ultra > You get my point now?

For a regular normal user, they won't mind the difference between the Samsung and Huawei panel.

I have both Samsung and Huawei models, and I can for sure say that Samsung has the better screen; but the P30's screen is also just as good; and especially for the price that it is offered in the market now, the Huawei P30 is damn good bargain. (Don't believe me? See if you can find a new S10e in the market for the same price as a new P30).

Need to define what you mean by big first. Then go to gsmarena and use their phone finder.

The last 5incher i used (still have) is the mi 5... Screen was about 5.2 inch iirc. Using same dimension for width (70mm), the S10e will come up.

Actually only 5 android phones come up with min 6gb ram:
S10e, S20 vanilla and 5G version, pixel 4, and Xperia 5. The smallest (width) being the Xperia 5 at just 68mm (but quite tall, though, at 158mm vs 145mm for my mi 5)

Good question! My previous phone that i truly satisfy is xiaomi redmi 3s, by that time the spec is just moderate i guess. Now im using huawei Nova 2i, but its too big for me actually.

hard to find original with 1 year malaysia warranty now. Mostly its import set.
