Hi Guru,
I'm new to VPN, I have a concern on my TV box, it always hangs there for a while and needs to wait sometimes to allow streaming again, I've Unifi 100mb connection, May I know whether VPN will help my case?

it happens to 1 iPad and 1 Macbook too, normally we have total of 4 devices online.

TVbox model is iboite.
Router - D-link - DIR842

Thanks for the enlightenment!

It happens to TV youtube too, it will pause there a while and continue later after 1 or 2 minutes, if using PC, it is smoother

TV is using LAN cable connection

I think you got it wrong, Wifi has lower transmission speed than LAN. Use LAN for stability and speed.

You need identify the problem first. Im a little confused. Why dont you test your connection speed to see if youre getting the full speed you have the package for. A VPN will help bypass geo-restrictions for streaming and avoid ISP throttling. When i say ISP throttling i mean your provider could be limiting your speed on specific applications that use alot of bandwidth. If the above stated problems apply then start by using a premium vpn that has a trial to be sure. You can try PureVPN that has a 7-day trial
