Well I'm still having hopes for RE5 to be released this year, perhaps late this year. November-December will do fine.

what i am afraid is, the series will become something mediocre and average, like DMC4.

DMC4, hehe, i might get flamed but i dont see anything different.. it's just hack and slash and shoot shoot shoot...

RE5... i'm suspecting a same old tps... with more enemies... so, oh well...

seriously, in order to 'occupy' the lower media, Capcom can only deliver average content to all next gen gamers. something we played during PS2 days. of course la some people love it, they never play DMC series on their console lah!

I'm not sure if it's rumor anymore. But u can go to gamespot.com, gametrailers.com or ign.com. Search for the game and u'll find out that it's also available on xbox360 platform..... Let me know what do u guys think and point of view....

HAR? Sorry about that...

First of all, when Capcom announced RE5 they already announced that it would be both on the PS3 and 360.

The article doesn't say anything about that. Read properly, its a rumor about RE5 being a timed-exclusive on the 360.

As for my opinion on the rumor, I would say pretty much bull..... Capcom wants to screw its fans over in Japan? Feel free to be my guest, it'll plunge the entire company into fan-hate instantly.

360 sold like how much in Japan?

blame it on the better than expected sales of lost planet & dead rising....which led to DMC4 going multi-platform i believe.

capcom still "owes" ps3 an exclusive game for this generation, XBOX got dead rising and Wii got Monster Hunter, where's our exclusive ps3 game ???

Actually.... MS paid for DMC4 going to the 360. Not only that, all of Capcom's next-gen games are built on the MT Framework which works really well on a Windows-based PC. As every of Capcom's next-gen games are built on the PC first then ported over the PS3 and as well as to the 360, its a no-brainer that MS will do something about this opportunity. More over, due the fact that the 360 having quite a similar base of development as on a PC, porting a game over from the PC is a relatively easy task.

As for Capcom owing the PS3 an exclusive.... well, hey we still haven't seen or heard anything about Onimusha now have we?

oh well,from the moment i saw dmc4 is also available on xbox 360, i ady guessed re5 will goes multi plat anyway.

lol why on earth do capcom owe Sony an Exclusive! Business is all about money, if can earn more why limit it? Back then Dead Rising was release on Xbox360 becoz the Sony PS3 werent out yet! And for Monster Hunter, i doubt it will stay long with Wii, Capcom is slowly extending their game to multiplatform just like Konami (except for MGS3 and MGS4 where Sony bought the exclusive), game will be on PC, Xbox360, Wii (if it can meet the requirement) and PS3!

And i think Dead Rising getting ported like the Lost Planet is just a matter of time. (like the RE4 from GC to PS2 and also PC)
