Wokeh, here's the project I've been working on for the past 2 weeks. It's a brand spanking new Lian Li V1000 still in the box.









She's out of the box.












N here's a loooovely sexay Coolermaster GeminII cooler that will be used in the project.












OOooooooooohhhhhhhhh just look at those sexay heatpipes. I just cant help myself anymore. I hafta play with them right nowwwwwwwwwwwwwwww.










So I installed the cooler on the mobo even b4 I started on the casing itself.









Now, it's time to strip the case down. Side panels off.

Installed the HDDs to show how the stock orientation is. The wires will all be exposed on the motherboard side which will be open to full view once I cut the window for the panel. Wont look nice with lotsa wires exposed in the side window.










So, what I'm going to do is reverse the HDD cages so that the wires will all be hidden from view n haf a totally clean look from the window. 1st thing I did was to remove the cages.










Voila! 2 nice lovely HDD cages removed.












I then proceeded to reverse the cages n this is the result. All HDD wires will be hidden now.

Moving on to the top panel now. Making a window for it. All masked n marked, ready for lunch date with Mr. Black Decker.











Mr Black decker is having a goooooooooooood time on the date.











Top window cutting is done.










It's time to install the hardware.

Time to move on to the side window now. Mr Black Decker cant wait to go on the next date with Ah Lian. Wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee. Here we gooooooooooooooooooooo Mr Black Decker.









Rough cut of the top section of the window is done.








Bottom section done.










After a few hours of final detailing work on the window, it's now complete.










Let's put it on the case to complete everything.

Uncle ian i thought u cut using dremel i wonder how u cut using
jigsaw...
and what about the noise uncle is it very louda and u cutting indoor...

hooo .. speechless nice .... every single cut is like work of a machine rather than hand cut with tool ..

btw.. uncle how do u manage to cut the curve line with jigsaw...I've always experience vibration or miss alignment when turning the blade to certain degree,,,,,

It has something to do with the blade used ???

i think they called it wifi cz theres no wire or cable that u mite c from the sidepanel
