Hey guys, why can't I receive MMS using WAP GPRS but I can when I'm using 3G.

The problem is, I don't have 3G reception in my campus. What should I do, I'd acitvated both of them.

Thanks.

Yes. Activ5 is no longer available. Actually Activ10 is just an extension of Activ5.

Would like to add more observation on this - feel that redeem SMS takes longer time to process.

Anybody would like to share your experience on this?
*
Never tried SMS in a long time, used to take around 2 hours last time. Not sure about now.

And yes now redeem call time is instant.

BTW, it's not listed if you check *122# is it? After I redeem I can't see anything.

How to check free airtime?

Thanks.

I think it's added to your balance. One way to verify is to check your balance before and after redemption.
*
Nope, I'd checked, it's still the same as before. =\

Ah yeah can someone guide me to a user-friendly source which discuss the benefits of changing from the old talk/sms plan to hotlink plan?

As I notice that my Active10 sms rate charges 5 cents. =\ I think it's due to my old talk plan, no?

Thanks.

You can check what's your current plan using *100#
*
Yeah, I did, that's why I know.

The thing is, I thought Active10 is a standalone rate non-affected by any plans?

Or I'm wrong from the start.

Anyone mind to guide me to where I can read upon more info for the plan comparisons? I'd been to blogs and such, and I still can't get what I want.

Thanks.

Active 10 applicable to Hotlink Plan.
For Hotlink Plan, sms to non-active 10 is RM0.07/sms, sms to active 10 is rm0.01/sms

Call plan, sms to non-active 10 is RM0.10/sms, sms to active 10 is rm0.05/sms
Sms plan, sms to non-active 10 is RM0.05/sms, sms to active 10 is rm0.01/sms

Correct me if I am wrong
*
I'm getting that for my Active10 (dad and mum hp num). Wtf? So it actually refers to what plan you're using issit?
So if that case it seems that Hotlink Plan is still a way better deal then.

CMIIW too.

But Hotlink Plan, if you sms to non-active 10, then it is expensive. It have pros and cons
*
Yo Joshua, issit true that Active10 is dependent on what plan you choose? It's all clear when this question is answered.

Else I will be shooting blanks. laugh.gif

For the pros and cons... Anywhere to check that out? I'd been through hotlink website, and I don't get their documentation doh.gif

Thanks.

Oh cool thanks!

The thing is, Total plan seems feasible compared to Talk Plan. Anyone thinks the other way round?

Activ10 is not directly independent of whatever you're attached to. At least not the call or SMS rate. These rates are depending on whatever you're currently subscribing to. Don't mislead by the commercial.
*
Yeah, the blardy commercial is so damn misleading vmad.gif

Thanks David83. smile.gif
