QUOTE(sjz @ Aug 4 2007, 02:02 PM)
The latest thing about Maxis that make me angry is:
Usually i topup RM10 every week and still left about RM2-3 on the end of the week as i am using iTalk mostly because maxis is dishonest, i really scare of them....But on 1st of August, i top up RM30, for the 36sen/min low flat rate lo...
Guess what? on the 2nd august, my account still left RM15.37 only...
WTF....
*
So, are they charging more than suppose to be?

Misleading ads is very common. That's why don't trust the ads thoroughly. As a smart consumer, you should do all the diggings before commit to a purchase. Today is the Information Age whereby information is flowing freely (most of it). You can get tonnes of information from the Net and LYN Forum is one of them. We have knowledgable forumers in here. biggrin.gif

Agreed. In fact all telco has the problem of misleading ads...

Celcom to Celcom is the first part.

The 2nd portion is only for Mid Plan. My dad's using Lite Plan.

U mean Value Plan 50 rite? Every month a commitment fee is RM50 which will become ur talk time (inclusive of sms, mms, video call & data charge). Every min is RM0.15 (maxis-maxis) & RM0.20 (maxis-other operators). IF ur usage a month >RM50, u will pay accordingly as per charge unless <RM50, u will have to pay RM50 & no roll over credit to next mth.

What you want to know? I'm assuming that you're referring to Campus Zone or better known as Hotlink Zone now.

1. You need to register for it.
2. Only selected campus are available.
3. The rate should be same as Activ5 rate but when you're in the zone, it's extended to all Maxis/Hotlink numbers instead of 5 in Activ5.
4. Call rate should be 15cents/min (charge according to 30-sec blocks) and SMS rate should be 1cent/SMS.

is it means that if we are at the zone, we can send any sms (with the 1cent/sms) to other maxis users where ever they are??

YES. The same applicable to call rate. As long as you stay in the zone.
