As far as i know, Sabah/Sarawak Plan has cheapest call rate of all Hotlink prepaid plan RM0.35 and maybe also the best Hotlink prepaid. Correct me if i'm wrong.

Call - RM0.35 to all network(all operators and local, adjacent and non adjacent) - no condition like minimum reload RM30

SMS - RM0.07 (Maxis)/RM0.15 (other operators)

Activ5 Call - RM0.15 (Peak/off peak)
Activ5 SMS - RM0.01

*referred from Hotlink brochure i get during Kuching 3G road show

From Hotlink FAQ:-

Question:
Currently I am on Sabah/Sarawak Plan. Do I enjoy the 38sen/min flat rate

Answer:
Sabah/Sarawak Plan enjoys better rate, i.e. 35sen/min to ALL networks.

Question:
Currently I am on Sabah/Sarawak Plan and have top-up RM30 on 2nd July. I flew into Peninsular Malaysia and made a call from Peninsular Malaysia on 10th July. Am I enjoying the 38sen/min flat rate?

Answer:
Yes. Hotlink lets you enjoy the best rate at all time. If you are on Sabah/Sarawak Plan and top-up RM30 or more, you will enjoy 35sen/min if your call originates from Sabah/Sarawak and 38sen/min if your call originates from Peninsular Malaysia (within 30 days of your RM30 or more top-up date).

ive been using the talk plan b4 dis..
now got new rates, do i automatically change to dis plan?
can i not change?
i calculated n ill waste more money as.. i always make a 1hr phone call to my activ5 during off peak b4 dis (=10cent per min) which will equall to RM6

d new plan shows 15cents per min offpeak+peak..meaning, ill b charged = RM9 for a 1 hr call

can i not change?

It's a one-way ticket. Once converted, there's no way you can go back to your previous plan. So, think properly before you switch.

For those who wished to stay on the old plans, you can still do so. Only new sim packs with EASY plan will be automatically converted.

7 cents/SMS to Maxis numbers
1 cents/SMS to Activ5 numbers or while you're in Hotlink Zone

Finally my 3G sim problem solved. It was the simcard version faulty. Those who are intending to upgrade to 3G sim, don't do it now. Their current version that end with SA (at the back of the sim) is a incompatible one, always sending message.

Currently Maxis KLCC only have the SA version. Haih

That's only for 3G sim (prepaid) sweat.gif
Different sim got different serial number.
Currently the 3G sim (prepaid) ending with the S A (serial no.) is incompatible. Those who just upgraded their 3G sim (prepaid) 1-2 months ago must check if their credit got deducted each time they off & on/restart their phone

Nop, when there is some problem with your simcard, they will ask whether our sim serial no ends with what. So it's important actually, especially when your simcard got problem.

To us it's just alphabets unless request by customer service to quote the whole series of sim number.

you mean you paid for your call forwarding long time ago BEFORE you activated 3G?

in this case, i dont  know, but what i do know is if you have NOT subscribed to call forwarding prior to this, and you decide to activate 3G now, call forwarding will be provided FOC for you.

someone please confirm my findings, (especially those with active 3G , check your call forwarding to see if it's active)

called Maxis yesterday and they confirmed for me that my call forwarding is free. actually, to all active 3G users, it's free! rclxm9.gif
