i would suggest most of you read the statement released by the FIA and fully understand it. i know alot of you are fans thus your comments are biased. however, please do give reasons for your claims and not act so childish and call people cheats.
if you read it, McLaren does have some basis on which they can appeal. of course, they will still be punishments as the punishments cant be imposed on the drivers (pedro and alonso) whom knowingly took illegal information. Also, statements of WMSC are clear as there is still has no concrete proof that other McLaren personnels and the team as a whole made use of the information. they only said it is unlikely a test driver could make decisions that information was not important/applicable in McLarens case. In my personal opinion, I think the result of the case wasnt properly handled due to the involvement of 2 major teams and the pressure the media puts on them |

QUOTE(htkaki @ Sep 15 2007, 12:23 PM) Whoever wins the WDC; Alonso or Hamilton, it would be a tainted victory. It is rather sad that things took an ugly turn. No matter what, when McLaren are found guilty in this espionage saga, some people if not most people will percieve them differently. same thing goes to ferrari winning the constructors title. its tainted. they won it off the track |

i still dont see it as hamiltons fault. he went outside so he had more room to brake. he didnt pass the safety car. webber did nothing wrong too. its still vettel for following right behind.
(btw, schumi did that alot of times too) |
