i hope next year with the TC ban, we get to see more overtakings on the track. all these strategizing and overtaking in the pits is as exciting to watch as a MotoGP warmup lap

damn sad for F1, i wish the case were settled earlier and not drawn out like this.
no constructors points, the drivers should boycott any future wins. just park their cars to parc ferme and head back to the mclaren garage to celebrate so, next year, McLaren will have the lousiest pit box and their car number is No. 23 and No.24 behind the Prodrives? LoL |

where will alonso's and hamilton's standings today if the team did don't do a super stellar job with this year's cars?
schumi/rossi + lousy car/bike package = unimpressive now they punish the team and forbid the team to celebrate any future win/podiums, what's the point for the two drivers to keep up the farce on future podiums anymore? for TV audiences? they should pit the cars at the final lap rather than at the finishing line like schumi last time, LoL This post has been edited by acougan: Sep 14 2007, 01:01 PM |

i LOLed at the ""Hi Mike, do you know the Red Car's weight distribution? It would be important for us to know so that we could try it in the simulator. Thanks in advance, Pedro."
damn funny. now every other team like toyota and honda will want to hire pedro to testdrive their cars |

i really amused by the amateurish espionage that was taking place. photocopying dossiers at shop, sending unencrypted emails and text messages, bunch of bloody noobs. alonso living up to his name as F1 resident bad boy
if ferrari was spying on other teams, at least they'll be competent enough to cover their tracks This post has been edited by acougan: Sep 14 2007, 11:06 PM |

they should use the USD100 million to subsidize/reduce the prize of F1 tickets like what michelin did to Indy GP 06

many years back in a monaco GP, RD were furious at pedro. back then pedro was driving an Arrows (i believe) and DC somehow got send to the back of the grid and was unable to get past pedro on the tight circuit.
anyway Ron, payback's a b****. This is karma for mismanaging both Montoya & Alonso i think once RD settled as much as possible, he will retire and take off some of the heat from the team. still got many years to enjoy a meaningful retirement. all the best~ |

RD: You'll never be my number one.
DC: You the boss, the pay's good and i don't mind being a sidekick. RD: You'll never be my number one. JPM: WTH! It was a goddamn tennis accident and i'm no longer fat. I'm off to NASCAR. RD: You'll never be my number one. FA: Nobody messes with the Spanish Bull and gets away unscathed. i think Sutil/Vettel is a good fit for the 2nd seat nxt year. hamilton may be poached quite soon if the team run into some cost-cutting operation. |

so if alonso wins Spa, will Todt go up and shake his hand and share his champagne? LoL
i wonder if schumi is coming to Spa this weekend? actually i don't see this controversy hurting TV audiences. in fact, more casual viewers are bound to watch the remaining races. This post has been edited by acougan: Sep 15 2007, 05:28 PM |

still wondering how the 100million fine is gonna be split among the other teams? will it help the smaller teams? with BMW 2nd in the constructors, will they get extra money and privilege for next year?
also really curious abt reports that alonso is keeping most of his setup data to himself. brundle mentioned he only have 1 true ally in the garage, his engineer? i think lewis should spy on alonso for his setup details, LoL. |

wow! i din't know he actually check out the tracks on foot. maybe a scooter or segway is more efficient? hoping for a tense battle this weekend. shame abt massa being relegated to side-kick role though. when he starts in front, massa is often untouchable. |

QUOTE(BuFung @ Sep 27 2007, 05:32 PM) not so agree about Massa... he is all the way blocking his way to win 2 race ago... if kimi was so much faster on the same car, he is more than welcomed to overtake massa on the track else Kimi should have more in front.. at least 2 points. anyway, its very rare to witness teammates in top cars overtaking each other on the track in last 2 years. |

for hamilton to win this year is good for F1 and good for mclaren. do u think FIA will allow hamilton to bring his number#1 and the garage #1 back to mclaren for next year? i think by next year, hamilton will be filthy rich and escape to other countries (monaco perhaps) for tax evasion
a real shame abt vettel's mistake. hope he bounce back stronger and we see him more in '08. This post has been edited by acougan: Sep 30 2007, 03:57 PM |

after 2005 when alonso won his driver's championship with a low salary, now we have hamilton who breaks another record by winning 2008 with a salary that is even lower - £340,000. LoL
drives like ralf or JV really overpaid and don't contribute much to F1 |

the thing is hamilton wants to emulate schumi's reputation on the track. every stunt (including last race's) he pulled this year reinforces a ruthless driving style which makes other drivers will more likely yield in future races

QUOTE that conditions were so bad that it would be 'inappropriate' to punish any of the drivers LoL, i think kubica should also appeal his drive through penalty |
