Bro, Alt. Wheeljack is basically molded in white plastic [except for the C pillars which are painted, but it's only a small portion]. So the other parts of the body definitely won't fade cos there was no paint to begin with.

And to clear some misconceptions about BT , do note that not all the BT are 100% fully die cast. Only the earlier models are 100% die cast, and later they slowly cut cost. For some models, only the bonnet is metal while the others are just plastic. As for BT Rodimus, the entire figure is plastic.

Paint chips are bound to happen, but fading of paint, not too sure as I have yet to experience it. Mind taking some pics for me to look at?

So far, the paint on my BT01 is alright save for battle damage a.k.a paint chips.

So far, the Mustang mold is the most challenging to transform compared to the others. And I have countless times, popped the doors out and also the hands. Of course, I have now improved much over those days.

just got my takara voyagers, including blackout, ironhide and starscream, and also a Hasbro Megatron. Dowan scout anymore pay a little more but get it immediately much easier, dowan waste too much effort on scouting. Now i have a hasbro starscream to let go redi, comparing the two, takara seems to have nicer paint.....

For those who want to buy the toy, Carrefour Wangsa Maju still have some stock like Gyro Blade Blackout, Barricade, Frenzy (the radio player in the movie) & others Aotubot & Deception which didn't appear in the movie. I just brought 1 Gyro Blade Blackout from there for RM49.90
