So small and rated power 5W only. Can use? I think this one either clip hair super slow because too small and have to keep clear the hair from the clipper or it will just straight up break if hair too thick. Confirm got few strand of hair never clip.

I am using philips multigroom 7 series

KEMEI km 1990 or km1995 rm60ish shopee ada jual.
cordless, normal speed or turbo speed for thicker/curly hair.
cheaper than wahl and it works

This? Looks pretty terrible if you ask me. It looks like those cheap trimmers. The guard is very shaky and a guard designed like that WILL have hair stuck in it (I own one that is similar). See when the guy open the clipper blade and reveal the inside and how much hair is inside. Imagine having to open the clipper blade in the middle of clipping just to get rid of the hair. This never happens in proper decent hair clipper. The build also is very typical cheap trimmer. Guaranteed will not last long if used to clip hair. If you trim pubic hair maybe more suitable.

You can easily find cheaper options in shopee if you want something like this. I bought mine looks different but pretty much the same build, adjustable head, head blade design and same flaws and all for less than 30 bucks. From the review it sounds like it's a better blade and longer battery life (compared to the one I bought. You can look it up on shopee brand called kairui. Kairui has better guard though because it claws on the sides, not at the center) but other than that the same flaw everywhere. He even mentioned for top hair you still need scissors.

It's just 50 bucks.. If spoil just buang and buy another one. If by the time I good at trimming my own hair, perhaps I'll get a better one.

Pretty expensive for use-and-throw. You can get similar for 20-30 bucks.

Actually penjara style requires better and more powerful motors because you run through more hair and they tend to clump. Cheaper ones like these will jam the motor and if you don't get rid of the hair stuck inside of the clipper, it will just spoil.

So far Wahl or Andis. Wahl expensive. Andis cheaper but pretty good. Andis easystyle seems pretty decent and reviews are good too. The blade don't get too hot. If you don't mind spending abit more Andis USPRO its much better (6000 strokes vs 12000 strokes per minute). Price range is about 150 vs 200 +-.

For me xiaomi/enchen do a pretty good job....

If you don't try to do short fades or let it go through a clump of hair, it's fine but there will be hair inside of the trimmer for sure and they're very hard to clean even with the brush. Basically if you use it for pubic hair or armpit can lah. For head hair, sideburn can la but the thicker area or higher ones, this one looking for trouble.

Oh just buy AA operated ones so when the battery rosak you can replace it unlike internal-rechargeable ones like Xiaomi's

AA batteries can also be replaced when you need to without having to wait for them to be recharged.

Just but RM12 ones from Mydin USJ1, upperfloor. Guard will tell you it is closed. Just tell them you want to buy hairclipper.

Aih, unker haven't use lasapda for long time... use shopee only.

Andis not much of a choice by barber but WAHL is the most widely used clipper by barber (not Mamak barber ok). The price kinda expensive but the motor and the knife combined will determine the speed of a customers hair being cut. But beware of fake WAHL, as there is so much fake WAHL clipper. The Legend priced around +/-RM400. Don be fooled by those selling with price like RM200 and below ya.

WAHL clipper didn't priced within range of RM100 below. The cheapest model would be around RM200+ IINM. The link u attach somehow look like fake 1. Later cut half, motor jem baru tau.

You can try Super Tapper around RM200+ or Hero RM300+..

Legend was used by pro barber widely and it can handle many customers in long run and not being too hot. U dont need a Legend for personal use. Super Tapper enough. But the question is, will u find an original one or fake? That ought to be answered by u yourself.

Yeah... Cannot do fade. Because no 1mm.
0mm can do, but scared.

Usually when I go barber I'll do 0mm on my sides and back all the way up you the ear top level.

How is this working out ? Still good ? Does the blades need to change often ?

Still working well. On the average, one haircut a month since 2020. I also use to trim my beard every few days. Blade mechanism still OK.

Cool .. bought myself one. Hope will me able to DIY haircut. Any tips and pointers appreciated.
