Is there any difference in taste between Nestle Professional Pack full cream milk and the common Nestle full cream milk in pink coloured packets found in supermarkets?

More creamier than normal. Different process I guess.

Thanks for the quick response. That is good to hear as the regular Nestle in pink colour packets doesn't taste so good as the taste is little pale without milk taste. More like water taste. I usually buy Dutch Lady full cream milk instead as the milky taste is stronger but it isn't pure milk taste to give it the stronger flavour. It seems like something is added to Dutch Lady milk, vanilla essence or something similar to give it the flavoring.

Will likely give this Professional Nestle a try but the damn seller on Shopee isn't telling me the expiry date when I asked.

Dutch lady full cream milk may not taste like fresh milk as sold in cold section but it definitely suits best whenever i wanna make milk tea, milk coffee or whatever that requires full cream milk. It just blends smoothy and tastes right, i've tried fernleaf, marigold and a few more which disappointed me.

Price-wise, dutch lady full cream milk also quite cheap compared to others, sometimes Tesco offers at rm5 each pack. Reconstituted milk such as this dutch lady will always have added extra ingredients such as flavoring and plant based stabilizer.

I think McCafe uses pure milk in their latte which is quite nice. However for my daily matcha latte and milk tea i'll just stick to dutch lady full cream milk.

The bakery supplies shop i usually go the boss says these are actually the same as the normal ones u see in supermarkets but these are packed for food manufacturers so its more cheaper.

I'd definitely agree there. Similarly Dutch Lady Full Cream milk tastes best when used with any type of beverage, coffee, tea, Milo, cocoa or anything else due to the rich milky flavour. With other brands of milk such as Nestle, Fernleaf, Marigold, Good day etc., you don't feel the added richness of the milk when it is added into your beverage drink. As if you didn't add any milk in the drink with these brands even though you have poured the milk into your tea or coffee. Tastes more like water than milk.

With Dutch lady full cream milk, you can really taste the creamy taste of the milk.

Yes, price is very reasonable with Dutch Lady Full cream milk with RM5 per pack being the cheapest I can find throughout the years. I will buy at least half dozen (1 carton) if it is priced at RM5 to 5.50. Sometimes the price goes up to above RM6 and closer to RM7 and I'd say forget it.

The other brands of inferior milk such as Fernleaf and Good day, sometimes they are priced at RM4 per pack but I won't be buying them anymore as the taste cannot match the Dutch Lady Full cream milk.

The milk in the cold section cannot be kept long and it is slightly higher in price than the non-cold section so I usually buy less of the cold milk. However, what I've found is the taste of the Dutch Lady full cream or Fresh milk in the cold section is slightly pure in the taste than the Dutch Lady full cream milk in the non-cold section. In other words, you can drink the milk by itself and the taste is more pure. You can also drink the Dutch Lady full cream milk in the non-cold section but you can feel the taste is not as pure, but as a complement to tea, coffee. Milo and other cocoa beverages it is perfect due to the stronger milk taste which brings out the flavour.

As an update, as the seller didn't revert on the expiry date of the Nestle Professional milk, I ended up not buying the milk.

Half dozen, that's quite an amount of milk! It seems you like milky beverages very much, well at least it's healthier than non-dairy creamer which we should avoid at best.

It's true but weird and i don't know why, same ingredient - milk but different brands taste not the same at all, not even close to Dutch lady. I like my milk tea very strong, like brewing 25g of black tea leaves per mug of 450ml. Other brands of full cream milk either too watery or taste weird, leaving the tea too overpowering. Only Dutch lady full cream milk can smoothly balance my strong tea with its creamy flavor, like 40% milk and 50% strong tea, another 10% of sweetener would be just fine.

Speaking of sweetener, i found that brown sugar goes well with both milk tea and coffee, whereas honey paired with matcha latte would yield an interesting taste, depending on the type of honey you use. Capilano organic honey (white label bottle) has a very strong wild floral taste, it's odd if i put it in my other beverages but tastes heavenly if i just paired only with Dutch lady full cream milk and again, Dutch lady wins.

Yes, i wouldn'd be tempted to buy other cheaper brands. I will always zoomed for the blue packing of Dutch lady. But not the light blue Dutch lady low fat milk, it just wouldn't have the same creaminess as full cream. I can diet on any food but not my full cream beverages! Imagine having a spoiled drink, what could be worse than that?

I think that's the reason why Dutch lady has both full cream milk in the cold and non cold section. As a breakfast milk and as a complementary to beverages. The price also not the same.

Just wanna do a quick review on Farmhouse fresh milk that i bought due to Dutch lady out of stock.

Im not sure what it tastes like with other beverages or drink straight out of the packed milk, but so far i've only tried with matcha latte. And it's a nightmare. It has a weird aftertaste and as the name implies, it doesn't taste like green grass or fresh air surrounding the "farmhouse" but tastes literally the smell of cows in barns.

A bit of regret but have to finish all the twin packs before restocking Dutch lady!

Assuming you are getting the supply from Shopee - Nestle Professional vendor, then the expiry date is end Dec'2020. I just got my delivery!

There is! And you'd be surprised that 'Professional' range goes out... cheaper... than the pink one. Got my Profesional at RM4.90/1L, whereas pink one retails at RM5.80/1L. but professional haven't taste yet. later taste will update

Yes u wont see it in commercial hypermarkets...These are sold directly to food manufacturers and shops that specialty in producing food for consumers such as bakery shops (also bakery supplies shops) or coffee shops and etc.

Sometimes i see nestle pink box selling at about the same price as dutch lady full cream milk and other times cheaper depends on which supermarket i go. But tesco always has good chance getting the dutch lady at rm5 per box.

I used to have the urge to try nestle full cream milk but always doubted its taste and hesitated. Can it provide creaminess to milk tea, coffee or matcha lattle while not affecting the original taste of the beverages?

never have i see both selling at the same price.... usual the full cream milk is more expensive. maybe in your case, the expiry date is nearer? on your next question, have no idea. usual i use fresh milk for my coffee! and yes, my nestle came in good condition. but i did read many comments saying their goods came leaking...
