Are you using iPad as home hub? if so, if you unplug power from iPad, then few hours later plug charging cable to iPad again, will the automation work again?

I had a G2H for a couple weeks now and I would NOT recommend it for anyone if you plan to use it for real security - only speaking for Homekit Secure Video.
1. The motion sensor only triggers recording when motion is continuously detected. Sometimes there are movements and nothing is recorded.
2. The image quality of the camera OR whatever encoding Homekit Secure Video uses is terrible. You can't even distinguish faces when the person is >1.5 meters away. (You can recognise family members but useless for intruders).
3. The only awesome part is two way talking is supported (You can use the microphone and the speaker on the camera to talk). - but that's the only good thing I can say about this camera.
Will probably resort to Homebridge and RTSP feed from my network cameras instead.

Looks like 720p recording, did you try to use Xiaomi app to view recording?

Hello HomeKit pros here. Anyone knows how to turn homekit bridge on HASS available on 4G network? For now, the homekit only works when my phone is on the same wifi network.

I don't have problem to use homekit app to access HASS devices exposed through homekit bridge on HASS when I'm outside using mobile network on iphone.

Oh. Do you have homepods, apple tv or ipad at home as homekit hub. I read thats the requirement for homekit to work outside wifi system.

I do have the ipad as the homekit hub, yes, i believe you will need homekit hub to access from outside.
