I will never buy the RM 899 from official xiaomi lol, below rm700 from other sellers one is good for me. I would say 1c is best value for money below rm1k.

Just a few for example, maybe i don't even buy from them. Because from my experience some sellers don't advertise before 12am. What i do is just wake up at 12am and check flash sale see which one is cheapest.

Well, lazada is better this time maybe with laztreat rm55 voucher, shopee one probably expensive by a little.

bought gt200, i am happy with the cleaning performance just not happy it get stucked and i need to manually move it

I have a Mi Robot (2016) at my own home, which has LDS / LIDAR function (has map, no mopping, no virtual wall in app). And my in-law's place they have a Roborock S5 which is almost identical with the Mi Robot but has mopping function plus virtual wall in app.

The thing is my in-law wants to get another new robot for his house, I thought of helping him to get a Mijia 1C for the ground floor, and they can use the Roborock on 1st floor. The old ppl does not want to carry the big robot everyday up and down stairs like he is doing now. They are at 70's yes, it's safer to have 2 robot in this case. Question is, 1C good enough for ground floor which has sofa, dinning table and chairs ?

Why I thought about 1C is also because of the slim body, it can go under sofa easily. The Roborock is a bit too thick, my in-law needs to add some ugly buffer on this furniture now.

How many years you have been using mi robot 2016? Any lds or other problems?

1c is just budget option compared to roborock, no lds means it will bang the furniture more often and take longer to finish the same job. Some elder people are more sensitive with noises. Also keep in mind 1c only have 2400mah battery, if the house is big it will have to recharge to finish the job.

I think there is no need to find deals and add cart now, just go shopee lazada at 12am sharp and search mijia 1c/xiaomi 1c, as some sellers doesn't publish price before 12am. Most of the deals are 689-699 in lazada with laztreat - RM55 = RM 634-644 (if vouchers are as advertised). Ya just basic mop dragging a wet cloth around, if your floor is dirty it might spread it even further. if want better mop can go for mijia mop pro using Y pattern mop, or even better go for roborock models which can clean stains.
