Long time ago when Crysis was released in 2007, I recall that it tested many high-spec laptops/PCs for its time. I won't be surprised if this 'remaster' will test our current-gen high-spec machines. But tbh, I wonder if there's any need for it as the graphics are pretty good for its time, followed by its sequels, Crysis 2 & 3. If you're talking about from Halo: CE (2001) to Halo: CEA (2011) where the latter remastered the graphics of the former (plus the cutscenes involve mo-cap) and the difference is drastic, it makes more sense.

Since its targeting multiple platforms, I won't be surprised if the control scheme will follow Crysis 2 & 3 due to the controller's limited number of buttons compared to the keyboard and mouse.
Tbh, I find that rather streamlined compared to the original Crysis where you'll have to use the skill wheel to choose speed, strength, armour, cloak and the weapon customisation. For the latter 2 games, when you run, it automatically applies 'Speed'. If you hold the Melee and Jump buttons plus carry heavy weapons, the 'Strength' skill applies. For 'Stealth', just press a button and 'Armour' is the default skill already set.
