The IO Panel. There is Clear CMOS Button at the IO Panel. So u can easily Clear yr CMOS without opening yr side panel(Casing). A plus for me so that I do not need to clear the jumper for CMOS on the mobo. But, Asus has a good 'recovery' after faile din OC so, I did not touch the CMOS jumper at all for the whole process of testing and oc.

Command Rate for Memory: 1T or 2T at yr disposal. Of course, it depends on yr memory if it can take the command rate.

Max vcore for CPU is 1.90vcore. For extreme overclocker. This is not enough. But for me, it is more than enough.

Loadline Calibrtion. Is this like CPU voltage Dumper???Anyway, I will always leave it as ENABLE for OC. Still need to investigate further what is this option does.

Max vdimm for memory is 3.40vdimm.This is good for my DDR2 BH5-OCZ Reaper HRC PC9200.

DDR2 Ref Voltage. hm....not idea what this options does. Need to investigate further. But initial testing showed that this does not effect the oc of the memory. I will leave it as AUTO.

South Bridge Voltage: Max is 1.225volt. I wil leave as AUTO for OC.

PLL Voltage. Max is 2.0volt. Save u the hussle to hardmod it. This option has great impact on yr CPU FSB. In order to break teh so-called FSB wall, u need more voltgae from this PLL.

Memory Overclocking

Memory: OCZ Reaper Series. HPC Edition. PC 9200 1gb x 2 kit

600mhz @ 4-4-4-12@2.78vdimm with Pi 32mil, sandra and 3D Mark 03. My OCZ really loves high vdimm PC Probe II tends to report more volt. Maybe the reading is a bit off or the reading is accurate. Anyway this does not concern me.

Things to take note about the low temp on G0 stepping

My E6550 reach around 63 degree c at full load at 3.5ghz @ 1.45vcore on Asus Blitz Formula as compared to Asus P5K-E and Asus P5KC....

Wonder the sensor screwed on the mobo or something else. But what I can tell you is that the heatsink is HOT when I touched it so it is tally with the reading at about 63 degree during full load on Asus Probe II. On core temp and TAT. Full load only 50 degree clecius.

So, the mobo itself in effecting the load temp??

If u have this mobo pls confirm the reading of the load temp of yr G0 stepping CPU.
