Oh why it's overpriced in Malaysia, USD399 should be around ~RM1750.

Would it be worth upgrading from iPhone 7 to iPhone SE 2020?

My iPhone 7 has been my main phone for 3 years now and I was going to upgrade to iPhone 8 once it kaputed.

I can't tolerate big phones so my options are limited.

It's definitely an huge upgrade, especially the A13 chip.

You can't compare Apple spec to Android phone.

They want to release a more expensive 5G phone later this year, but hesitated due to the economy situation. So they clear their old stock (probably refurbished some more) by changing the CPU, to test and see how many retards still willing to buy 4G phones.

Kills two birds with one stone!

What's wrong with 4G phones? Do we have 5G now in Malaysia? How reliable 5G is?

In Malaysia, we barely get decent 4G speed in Klang Valley.

Not all apple specs, only se
Look at 11promax 3969 mAh but se less than 2k
But with that price, you can't say much

But the screen size is only 4.7", and they are using A13 chip which is very power efficient.

I'm sure it could last a day without problem.

The folks at Android Authority seem to think Apple has nailed it with this SE

https://www.androidauthority.com/iphone-se-...ndroid-1107508/

"Let me just quickly list out the things about the iPhone SE that make it an appealing budget phone:

- A price tag that is totally reasonable
- A close-to-flagship processor (even if it’s from the previous year)
- Wireless charging
- A good (doesn’t need to be great) camera
- Software updates that are fast, consistent, and will come for years

If Android OEMs want to know what a budget phone needs to be a recommended buy, that’s the list right there. There’s nothing on the Android market that has all that in the US"

I'm waiting for the camera review on this phone.

I would like to see if there is an Android phone <RM2000 able to compete.

I think the most disappointing part about the camera is no night mode. That puts it at a severe disadvantage even vs Android phones below RM1k.

There is no night mode? ranting.gif

Sadly not only Klang valley most part of peninsular
Rural areas even worse to cope with 4G connectivity
5G not sure

I can't even get a stable 3G signal in my condo.

Long story short, 5G is still a long way to go.
