Not everyone will look at the specs
Others like their design and buy them

You can't compare Apple spec to Android phone.
*
Not all apple specs, only se
Look at 11promax 3969 mAh but se less than 2k
But with that price, you can't say much

But the screen size is only 4.7", and they are using A13 chip which is very power efficient.

I'm sure it could last a day without problem.
*
Last more than half a decade laugh.gif
I agree with a13 chip, it's an upgrade from iPhone 8
4.7" with home button cuz there are people who prefer traditional home button
It's a game changer from Apple

Have u been using it? How u know battery life is terrible? On paper vs real life experience can be different
*
Nope but I owned 2 IP11 each with 3110 mAh
SE only 1821 that's like half of 11
I can finish my 11 battery by evening so you can compare with SE

It's a good move by Apple as a phone maker, because they do want to fight in the lower end budget segment for market share and cross-selling of their products.

Doing this uses zero R&D. Just slap on a 2019 chip on a 2017 model (which inherits a lot of 2015-2016 design & parts), and it satisfies the needs of their target segment nicely. Their factories can churn out these iPhone 8's (I mean iPhone SE2) without any major changes.

I only wish Apple is also smart in their flagship models. It's been losing the magic touch ever since Steve Jobs died. I miss that Apple magic honestly.
*
Steve job be like this is a joke
The only good thing is chip can compete with 11 models
Others just like IP8 might as well get secondhand cheaper I guess haha

What is your usage pattern like? I had the IPhone XR and I can do 4 hours SOT on a 24-hour period with 50% battery remaining on most days. I'd imagine the 11 would be better or at least equal? I've not tested the 11 yet but I had the 11 Pro Max - that one the battery just won't die in a day.
*
Mostly on YouTube and social media
Surfing /k also
Play some games and all drained out by evening

11promax 3969 if I'm not wrong that's way more than 11

What's wrong with 4G phones? Do we have 5G now in Malaysia? How reliable 5G is?

In Malaysia, we barely get decent 4G speed in Klang Valley.
*
Sadly not only Klang valley most part of peninsular
Rural areas even worse to cope with 4G connectivity
5G not sure

perhaps signal is weak which drain the battery very fast or activating hotspot?
*
Could be...my data will run 24/7 on my phones
The place where I lived now don't have WiFi so....data save the day
Maybe this darined most of my batteries

I can't even get a stable 3G signal in my condo.

Long story short, 5G is still a long way to go.

And we're moving towards 5G now, connectivity of 4G will be history no one bother to improve this now lol
