A friend of mine was crossing the road, but the buddhist prayer bead bracelet that he was wearing broke all of a sudden. The beads fell everywhere, distracted him for half a second. Suddenly a lorry shot by. If it were not for the bracelet, he would have died in a horrible way.

This did not happen to me. Around 13 years ago, after sitting for the SPM exams, a good friend of mine got a job as a waiter at the Pan Pacific Hotel KLIA. Sometimes after work, he stayed at the hotel until late before going home. From the hotel to his house is a 25 minute journey. So there was one time he was riding his motorbike going home midnight, going slow and taking his sweet time.

Then another motorbike slowly took over him and they were traveling on the road (pitch dark, kampung roads) side by side. The other biker and his passenger yelled "Mana babi... saya mau daging babi"... and they looked very pale. Then after a while they disappeared into the night, nowhere to be seen...

After that incident, my friend made sure he would leave work as early as he could and never stayed too late at the hotel.
