i was thinking to buy a brand new ps4 for my nephew..

1. where should I get it, online or any recommended store?
2. what should I look for? is it like phone, where you have the shop warranty and sony warranty, underwater set?
3. what is the tricks, like should I go for jailbroken unit, or stick to the original?
4. what is in the set?

I'd say wait. The price is ridiculously right now due to MCO with no stocks around. The cheapest option for a 500gb is roughly 1.5k. don't spend the extra money.

really ahh 500gb ps4 slim 1.5K, i buy ps4 pro last year 1.3k should wait after MCO than buy.

1. As posted earlier, console price is has gone up for the time being. If your sole reason is to make full use of the MCO, then by all means, welcome to the club. You can get it online via lazada or shopee. Or look at the WTS thread here https://forum.lowyat.net/Games

2. It's regional warranty. It is advisable to get an Asian set, so u can claim warranty in Malaysia. 99.9% of legit sellers are selling Malaysian unit.

3. Nowadays gamers are going ori. If u plan to play online, your only option is ori.

4. Console, 1 hdmi, 1 power cable, 1 micro usb to usb cable, 1 controller. Bonus depending on bundles: free games, free ps+ subscription, free extra year warrantyt

i see there's a PS4 Pro with GOW & TLOU Remastered bundle pack at RM1799..it also comes with 2 DS4..

that is good deal because right now ps4 pro i check in shoppe up price to rm 2199 - 2499

i guess it's up to u to define your needs at this point of time. if u can wait, mco will be over next week, and price should drop when retailers restock. then again, things may not be as normal after mco, no one can say for sure.
even mcd cone is 1.20 now, it was rm1 for 3 decades.
