As you guys may have already been aware that Zoo Negara is a non-governmental organization which means they get no fundings from the government whatsoever in respect of maintenance and upkeep.

It basically thrives mainly through its gate collection and sponsorship from individuals, schools and corporate companies. i believe that our zoo doesn't get good revenues even on its better days what more now with the MCO in place, it gets almost nothing. While its human counterparts can very well survive by other means, the animals that resides within doesn't have any alternatives.

So if you guys are able and have some spare money to make do, would truly appreciate your efforts in contributing some donations.

I've checked the link with Zoo Negara and it is legit:

https://www.ticket2u.com.my/event/18171

The minimum is RM26.00 (RM1.00 for stupid processing fee).

Thanks in advance.

They can put a tiger in my house and I can adopt it. My house's empty land is big enough to park 4 buses, just need to do minor renovation including higher and tougher concrete fence.

do you also have any other family members like your parents, wife or children perhaps, living in the same compound? cause I understand that tigers can prey on humans if they are desperate enough.

I believe if zoo negara decide to let people to bring home and adopt their animals for temporally, eg 1 year or so, I will not have chance to register cause will fully gone within hours. Many latuk-latuk will use their VIP power to grab even before launch.

What zoo negara need to do is not sitting down there and wait for help. If tiger is a problem, they can sell normal or exotic pets and provide door to door services. This is one of the way to increase revenue.

I had adopted Layla- A tiger days before when my friend shared with me. It is good to have a platform to practice some goodwill.

Now I have good reason to visit the Zoo.

good to hear that - money that is actually going to make a difference instead of going towards a cup of overpriced coffee.
