dear all, need some advice here, my monitor has a scar on its surface, its an irremovable bump. no matter what alcohol swab, stickers etc that i applied on it, it just won't be removed.

is there any other way to safely clear out that dot? its not a dead pixel and there isn't any rainbow observed around it, so i believe its just the surface.

anything that i can use to remove it?

LCD surface is plastic mostly. What caused the bump? How big?

should be something sharp, its a size of a . <-- like this "dot".

I can't think why bump would suddenly there but if something sharp like needle pin poke and created pit, maybe.

sry not a bump, not able to take a picture on this. googled quite a bit but to no avail.

Maybe the defect was there since day 1 and was not noticed.

i believe so... its at the center of the monitor hence make it quite annoying ... sso no way to remove ?!
