About 15 minutes (without traffic jam or roadblocks 😅). I need to do rewiring and some setups and he basically quoted me the cheapest fees. He's located near Hicom there and I'm from Puchong.

You have personal experience? From the vids I saw even top guitar players like Hillary Ang send guitars to him. 😁

I have sent most of my guitars to him for pro setup. No doubt, very satisfied the outcome.

Usually how long does take for normal servicing? Few days or more than a week?

4-7 days depending on customer urgency and guitar queuing.

How much he charge for normal servicing? Not including refrets etc? Just basic setup with rewiring for example?

Finally send my guitar to doc grengg few days ago. Since I'm no hurry I tell him to take his time since I may need to change a couple of the intonation screws. May be ready next week. Unfortunately he doesnt do levelling and crowning so I may need to do it elsewhere later. It's not worth it for me to do full refrets though as only 3 or 4 frets that may need to be change.

I'd say the price quote is pretty great. He does not include the re-wiring charges since I opted for a full setup.

200 not including strings last time I send but u better ask him directly for quotation. Best if you bring your guitar first and he may recommend if there's anything else needed. New guitars for setups not so much. Old guitars especially frets worn out may cost more.

did you pay with a few minutes of susuk asmara jam on top of what he charges?

saw on youtube that he likes to ask his customer to goreng/noodle after setting up the guitar.

that alone is holding me back from sending my guitars to him. sweat.gif
