I've got a super old Asus Padfone. Wish to format and give it to kids (deal with Google Classroom).

As your advice, should I ROOT to get higher Android Version? (If YES, any easier way to complete the task. I'm haven't done it before 😅)

Or, better stay at current version (Android 4 🙄)

What's the exact model number?...for example Samsung Galaxy S3 is GT-i9300. Not necessarily me that could help, but someone else might have better chance searching for something and help you.

is yours model X or S? too bad if its just standard padfone, cos no custom ROM for standard model

for me, if there apps that compulsory to be use but android version 4 is not support, might be need to upgrade the androis version. maximum is android 6 iinm base on xda forum and i don't know whether it is stable or not.

if not, just use it normally. kids need to be control. let it stock rom.
