As my tv only has an optical output & bluetooth.

Im torn between the two speakers. Price more less the same.

Should i got for R1280DB for the optical port?

Or go for R1700BT, better spec wise but connect to tv using bluetooth.

Please advise me thx

If got hdmi arc go for it. Else optical. Bluetooth usually has latency timing.

BT one convenient, but make sure you dont suffer the latency

i would always suggest cable if possible

EDIT: R1700BT user here, im very satisfied with quality smile.gif

S90HD macam ada. I don't follow Edifier brands though. Aiming for Samsung mia Q90R at cutthroat price. innocent.gif

R17000BT.
I have the 1280t. Which is fine. But if you have extra budget. Go for r17009bt.

I'm using Edifier R2000DB for my desktop PC.

Sounds good but a bit boomy since I didn't leave a lot of space behind it to the wall and it has a rear firing bass port.
