erm actually, i already grabbed myself a q6600 B3 stepping .. i know i should wait with G0 but since i have no processor to use, i've no choice but to buy this.. maybe if it's so sux, i'll buy a G0 once it becomes available in the store.. and the real reason i bought this quad core over the E6850 is bcoz i got few video editting works to be finished by next month.. so hopefully it worth to use this q6600 over the super overclocked E6850..

I dont know why, I got my Q6600 today, tested all stable, duo orthos full 4 core prime stable for more than 1 hours, I overclocked to only 3.2GHz with 1.375v.

but why the hell my Q6600 running so hot??? I cant believe it how come irenic can get 65c full load at 1.55v....

please tell me why... getting mad.

i hv no time to test higher FSB...will do it later..even now, at 3.2Ghz the temp is high when priming..

if i want to get the highest FSB for the proc, the FSB:DRAM ratio also at default?? or stick to 1:1 ?

Bro, my orthos dual pass for 24 hours n playing any 3d game no problem, thats why, for the time being i set my vcore to 1.275v becos more cooling, any more comments or sugesstion or the advantage n disadvantage.

When i sat to 1.325v, my temp. will go as high as 72c when quad prime, thats why i sat it to 1.275v even that the temp. when dual prime it will reach 66c., thinking of going to wc, but still prefer air cooling not so hassle.

Dont know how to do lapping, hopefully can find someone doing for a certain fees, but doubtful whether after lapped, dont know got much different.
